Abstract
This talk discusses some trends in diagnostics and treatment anchored in recent advances in signal processing. The talk begins with an introduction to compressed sensing and describes its applications in MRI cardiac imaging. Next, the talk focuses on biclustering techniques and their use in developing group biomarkers for ovarian cancer. The talk concludes with an overview of wireless wearable sensors and their application in the treatment of patients with traumatic brain injuries.
