Abstract :
In this paper, analysis of electromagnetic waves in periodic stratified media with anharmonic law of change of permittivity is carried out. The second order differential equations for amplitudes of transversal electromagnetic waves extending orthogonal to a direction of spatial heterogeneity are considered. The results obtained in this present work are applicable to quantum Bloch problem in a periodic field with anharmonic law of change.
