Abstract :
A novel elevator door driven by the tubular permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM) is presented. In this paper, the magnetic field, back EMF and thrust force of the motor are analyzed by the finite element analysis (FEA). Optimization design of the PM is made to reduce the harmonic components of the magnetic field and improve the performance of the motor. The test experiment is finished on the prototype motor and elevator door, the test results conform to the FEA results, and the performance of the motor and the novel elevator door is satisfying.
