Abstract :
In this paper, the structure design characteristics of high speed permanent magnetic (HSPM) machine are analyzed. A comparative study about the influence of different stator structures on machine performance for a same PM rotor is carried out based on the magnetic field analysis using the finite element method (FEM). Further more, the stator teeth notching effect is discussed on the iron loss of stator, on the eddy current loss of rotor and on the cogging torque.
