Abstract
This paper introduces reference frame subtraction double difference algorithm (RFSDDA). It performs segmentation of moving objects in real-time from images. This algorithm is based on a combination of both ordinary reference frame subtraction algorithm (RFSA) and double difference algorithm (DDA). The experiment results show that RFSDDA inherits advantages from both RFSA and DDA: it is more robust to background scene variations than RFSA and is more sensitive to slow moving objects than DDA.
