Abstract :
In the conventional variable universe fuzzy control system, it is hard to select the function models of the contraction-expansion factors and parameters of the models. A new variable universe fuzzy control algorithm, according to the values of input variables and a fuzzy control rule list, to achieve the adjustment of universes by fuzzy inference in place of the function models, is proposed in this paper. Finally, the control algorithm is applied to the triple inverted pendulum system. The simulation results show, compared with the variable universe fuzzy control based on function model, the proposed algorithm can avoid the choice of function models and their parameters, and improve response speed and control precision of the controlled system.
