Abstract
In e-commerce negotiating agents play important roles in the transaction between two or more business enterprises. So in e-business, agents are to be more intelligent, autonomous and they should have negotiating capability which requires the knowledge of underlying business logics. Besides raw data and abstracted information, the knowledge of an agent provides business intelligence, which in turn promotes smart business. In this paper we have developed an object- oriented ontology based e-procurement process in steel industry on the basis of the knowledge of intelligent negotiating agent as entities in an object oriented paradigm.
