Abstract :
This paper will describe the design of the database system and the web interface which allowed all QA and test data to be logged in real time and enforced a procedural control during the production of the LHCb VELO modules at Liverpool University. It recorded the QA status of all components and associated test data and displayed the data via a dynamic web interface. It was an essential management tool and allowed for a paperless production environment. It is now a repository of all the production history and test data, and will be maintained as a resource for investigation of any problems which may arise in the future.
