Abstract :
The paper describes a system prototype to manage pervasive devices in a domotic environment with the support of fine grained access control mechanisms. It relies on visual languages to simplify the specification of complex access control policies, and the specification of applications through the composition of basic services. The system is based on AJAX and Web technologies to enhance usability and portability. Moreover, navigation is made straightforward thanks to a map-based interface. Finally, visual languages simplify the customization of the application environment and the integration with new devices.
