Abstract
Managers, in order to be able of producing the best possible decisions, should have the right information in the right time. However, without having the appropriate knowledge the production of good decisions would not be possible. In this paper we present an analysis of the smart space concept as well as a short description of a recent research effort towards an intelligent environment for managerial decision support. This research is based on a blend of various smart space concepts, but mainly employs ambient intelligence approach to smart spaces applications.
