Abstract :
This communication presents a simplified and compact representation for the solution of the transmission line model (TLMo) arising in the formulation of layered Green´s functions in the spectral domain. The purpose is to develop a versatile mathematical tool to address the TLMo problem regarding the stability of the algorithm. In addition, the physical meaning associated to the resulting expressions allows a systematic way to interpret other formulations of the solution and to envisage new ones, addressing for instance reduced order models. Finally, numerical examples are presented in order to validate the results.
