Abstract :
In this paper we present far-field antenna measurements of two equally manufactured corrugated horn antennas operating in a frequency range from 70 to 110 GHz. These measurements are compared to simulations obtained using the mode-matching technique. These results indicate the presence of a slow-wave mode inside the horn, which explains some measured pattern anomaly in the lower band end.
