Abstract
Modifications are proposed to RADANT-type lens in order to obtain the simultaneous scanning in two planes with one lens. The full-wave mathematical model is developed to optimize and predict the behaviour of the lens. The performance of the three-bit lens is simulated using the developed mathematical model. It is proved that the calculated conversion coefficient is better than 3.5 dB for the elevation angles up to 30deg in E plane and up to 9deg in H plane.
