Abstract :
Bandwidth features of aperture-coupled reflect arrays are examined in terms of phase curves as a function of the operating frequency for various lengths of the tuning stub. A parametric analysis is performed at different incidence angles for various dielectric substrates by varying the spacing between adjacent elements. Bandwidth improvements are demonstrated for all considered substrates and directions of incidence when properly reducing the unit cell size.
