Title :
Protecting the Train Driver and the Public at the User Worked Crossing
Abstract :
The article discusses about protecting the train driver and the public at the user worked crossing. With modern technology it will be a fairly simple exercise to provide at least a visual indication to the road user when it is safe to cross. We have been asked to investigate the feasibility of a simple system to achieve this. There are many hundreds of user worked crossings around the country and any system that can reduce the danger must be considered on merit.
