Energy Supply of the Future - Introduction to the AMI@SAP Project

There is a general consensus in the global society that the task of improving energy efficiency is mandatory and there is a general understanding that Advanced Meter Infrastructure is a crucial enabler to improve energy efficiency. Under the leadership of SAP several large Utilities and AMI experienced partners cooperate in order to achieve the seamless integration of the SAP for utilities solution to AMI Systems such that end-to-end processes can be executed fully combining the technical capabilities of smart meters and AMI technology with the SAP for utilities solution. The presentation explains the architectural concept in consideration of deregulated market conditions.
