Abstract

Users´ behaviors greatly affect communication methods, routing & access control. However, the importance of user role is ignored by current location-centric networks. To address this problem, we propose UCEN, a user-centric network which changes some basic principles of today´s Internet. UCEN adds user identity information into network, and enables user identity based authentication, routing & access control and application service management, which greatly ensure network security. To demonstrate the feasibility of this approach, a prototype is under development.
