Abstract

BcN wireless users are rapidly increasing in WiBro and HSDPA service. BcN wireless service not only supports voice service but also video and data service. Video and data service require complex QoS metrics for assuring stable service especially in real-time environment. However, because of the limitation of radio resource, it is hard to fulfill QoS requirement. It is expected that there will be troubles between users and ISP in BcN wireless service in the near future. Therefore in this paper, we surveyed technical QoS requirement cases in WiBro and HSDPA as well as propose the appropriate QoS management framework and metrics. We will also suggest building the wireless QoS measurement and management system.
