Abstract
The relationship between voltage and rotor angle is one of the important issues in power system stability. The influences of induction motor percentages and under-voltage load shedding on stability of Shanxi power grid (SPG) are investigated in this paper. Demonstration shows that under- voltage load shedding enhances voltage stability, but it makes the curve of rotor angle swing greatly. The analysis shows that precise conclusion can be obtained by considering the effect of induction motor in the stability analysis of power system.
