Abstract :
Two designs for a high power pulse 30 GHz gyroklystron are presented. Through detailed simulations, it was found that operation at the fundamental of the cyclotron resonance will yield over 70 MW, but because of space charge limits on beam formation, the power using the second harmonic will be about 37 MW.
