Abstract :
The complex investigations of the cyanine derivatives ware carried out with the Terahertz time-domain (THz- TD) spectroscopy and quantum-chemical modelling technique. We show that the THZ-TD spectroscopy is highly sensitive to the influence of the modification in chemical constitution of the organic molecules on their physical properties.
