Abstract
Techniques to reproduce content stereoscopically are diverse and autostereoscopic displays are increasingly gaining popularity for this purpose. However, the output capabilities of available applications are limited to one specific stereoscopic method in the majority of cases. Further, the purpose of most products is to play back videos without any interactivity. This paper presents a graphics rendering engine which is capable of outputting three-dimensional content to a wide range of stereoscopic and autostereoscopic devices. Combined with an advanced audio rendering engine and novel types of input devices, the user is able to interact with objects and navigate through virtual environments in a realistic manner.
