  • Abstract
    To enhance the visual impact of classical cel animations with 3D effects, an approach to generating stereo views on the basis of depth- image-based rendering is presented in this paper. A framework for a semi-automatic conversion is introduced, and the steps to track an user generated, initial depth map throughout a scene are described. Furthermore, first experimental results of applying our conversion framework are discussed.
