Abstract :
This paper will presents extensive case studies to show the strength of the model proposed in Part I of the joint papers. Results show that with large scale wind power development and a high penetration of EVs and PHEVs, oil prices would be reduced to the levels below $60/bbl in several years, with oil import reduced by almost 60%. The results substantiate our proposed energy policy to speed up EV and PHEV deployment.
