Abstract
A tunable 4th order bandpass sigma delta modulator is presented, which works in the FM digital receiver (87–108MHz). This modulator can be tuned within the FM range with a constant sampling frequency (fs ) using only one tuning parameter and gives more than 16 bit resolution and 100dB dynamic range. We also analyze the system non-idealities both analytically and by simulations to show the effect of these non-idealities on the resonator and modulator functionality.
