Abstract :
To update the variable system timely, an updating strategy, which is based on the distributed object technology, is presented by this paper. By this strategy, a COM component-oriented updating system framework based on distributed object technology is implemented. On the basis of observer design pattern, the framework takes advantage of the remote processing technology to implement the dynamic updating of software based on component. Both the theory and practice proof that it is an efficient solution to eliminate the disadvantage of traditional way of software updating.
