  • Abstract
    Optimization of decisions is one of important problems of decision analysis. Decision rule set is a representation of rules of decision information system. Optimization of rules and rule sets is two important aspects of optimization of decision. Optimization of decision rule sets affects directly the decision efficiency of decision information system. An approach for optimization of certainty rule sets based on rough set theory is presented. Some properties about certainty rules are discussed and the results that certainty of k condition rules is closed downward are proved. An algorithm of integration pruning for optimization of rules is also proposed. At last, the efficiency and practicability of the method are illustrated by the example in this paper.
