Abstract :
The design of fuzzy system is always a difficult problem. A quantum-behaved particle swarm optimization based method is proposed to design components of fuzzy system using given data. It can evolve both the fuzzy rules and the membership functions. In a real problem, it can obtain a near-optimal fuzzy system using given data. The proposed method is tested with promising results.
