Abstract :
A radio over fibre (RoF) system design and performance study of a full-duplex transmission ultra wide band (UWB) radio directly modulated over a multimode fibre (MMF) network for in-vehicle applications is reported. A comprehensive evaluation of the UWB radio transmission characteristics through the relatively inexpensive system and performance comparison of the bit error rate (BER) is presented.
