Abstract
The wide-band direction finding (DF) device scanning entire space in azimuth has been presented in the paper. It contains a circular antenna array and the Butler matrix as a microwave amplitude-phase converter. The experimental version of the device works with microwave phase discriminator (MPD) and personal computer (PC). The method and results of theoretical analysis as well as measurements in the range of 2 - 4 GHz are also presented.
