Abstract :
The efficiency of dye-sensitized solar cell with ZnO nanotip array was investigated. The ZnO seed layer was first prepared on the glass side of glass/ TiO2 electrode by RF sputtering. Zinc nitrate and ammonium hydroxide were used as precursors for the growth of ZnO nanotip array with the density of 8.2×108 cm-2 on ZnO seed layer by aqueous solution deposition at 85 °C. There is about 16% efficiency enhancement for DSSC with ZnO nanotip array.
