Abstract :
Rigorous mathematical methods are proposed to study eigen TE and TM modes of the corrugated resonators for the modern ITER relevant coaxial gyrotrons. These techniques could be used for the numerical analysis of the gyrotron resonators with the arbitrary corrugation parameters, moreover arbitrary mode numbers can be considered. Simulations performed based on these theories, results of the novel numerical investigations are presented and validated. Obtained results can be used to project and develop efficient modern gyrotron resonators.
