- Shock absorber system able to identify gas and oil loss giving prognostic capabilityunder representative conditions - Brake wear model validated against flight test data predicted errors below 10% with no extra sensing - Brake cooling prediction successful using modelling techniques - Acousto ultrasonics were the most technically mature for detecting damage on composite structures and cracks in metallic ones - Comparative vacuum monitoring also effective at damage detection of composites
