  • Abstract
    Simulation systems of thermal power plants now have low using ratio just as operation simulation of generating unit. In this paper OPC technique is used to connect simulation system and distributed control system (DCS) in order to get data shared by different industry systems. In this way the connected system can be utilized for training of engineers, verification test of control strategy, and DCS commissioning & maintenance to avoid destroying equipment for setting improper parameter and reduce the cost of commissioning.
