Abstract :
High quality random number is widely used in the cryptography, key management, cryptographic protocol, digital signature, and authentication. In this paper, we propose a new random number generating method which is based on the theories of Particle Dynamics Evolutionary Algorithm (PDEA) and Evolvable Hardware (EHW). We devise a Random Number Generator (RNG) of two-layer PDEA. The major features of this platform are: two-layer encoding of circuit structure, off-line evolving with software emulation and the evolving of PDEA designing. With this platform, we implemented the auto-designing of some software hardware systems, the numerical experiments also show that the random number generated in this paper with high randomicity, more chaos and long periodicity.
