Abstract :
In allusion to the object segmentation under the backgrounds of texture, by using all the wavelet channels´ texture energy values that produced by discrete two dimensional wavelet decomposition as the description feature, a feature images segmentation algorithm is presented. Furthermore, this algorithm is advanced to be applied to texture image segmentation and object segmentation in multi-texture backgrounds. The experimental results show that it is a very effective algorithm for image segmentation.
