    Data mining applications used by an enterprise is an effective option to inform and guide your decision making to keep your products and services competitive. This paper systematically analyzes some main data mining tasks. SQL server 2005 provides most powerful algorithms to support data mining tasks, they are integrated and available from one vendor, it´s clear that companies building data mining applications with SQL server 2005 are armed for success.
