Abstract
Knowledge integration is the key for enterprise to capture sustainable competitive advantage, but the scholars seldom took into account the factors influencing knowledge integration. The paper first reviewed the research on knowledge integration, then put forward the concept of knowledge integration capability and discussed its key influential factors, which included knowledge infrastructure, organizational learning, social capital and absorptive capacity. Relationships between the influential factors are also analyzed. A model is developed to discuss how the key factors affect knowledge integration capability as well as affecting each other. The conclusion is of some value for researchers and enterprises to deepen the understanding of knowledge integration capability. The resultant framework can be used by researchers for knowledge integration issue and hypothesis generation, or by practitioners for benchmarking knowledge integration practices.
