Research on Networked Manufacturing Model and Information Management

Networked manufacturing (NM) is an advanced manufacturing method. The profound influence of networked manufacturing for the global industry is taking place. Based on the analysis of the requirements and technology driving forces of the networked manufacturing, the basic features and connotation of NM based on workshop NC equipment are discussed. The structure and mode of a networked manufacturing system among workshop NC (Numerical Control) equipment are presented. Aiming at the status of present Numerical Control (NC) or Computer Numerical Control (CNC) equipment of the manufacturing industry, several typical DNC communication schemes for workshops are proposed. Finally, we take the prototype system as an example to illustrate the operation process of NM based on workshop equipment.
