Abstract
Although the concept of trust has been studied in many areas, the trust building strategies of business to business electronic marketplaces are not well studied. This paper analyzed the impact of B2B EMs on trust, and proposed a three dimensional trust building strategy for EMs, including inter-organizational trust between intermediaries and participants, between buyers and sellers, and man machines trust between precipitants and servers. This paper has important managerial implications for B2B EM operators.
