Abstract :
This paper presents the design and implementation of an innovative and intelligent solution in semi-automatically building user manual from its logs monitored. We introduce this intelligent user-manual maker system (UM-Maker) which records sequences of events as the user is using Web applications and turns these eventspsila sequences into contents that can be incorporated into user manual. UM-Maker provides two key components: handling event model (HDEVT) for implementing eventpsilas monitoring and handling, and semantic words pool (SWPOOL) for extracting some phrases customized to match semantic tags generated by HDEVT, then generate sentences. We look forward UM-Maker can apply to more other fields and being improved its functionalities in the future.
