Abstract :
In this paper, an object-oriented (OO) estimation model, named multi-granularity object-oriented software estimation model is presented, which was based on literature [Minghzi Mao and Li Chen] and conceived to estimate the size and effort of OO products. In particular, four levels are proposed, which are function level, class level, module level and system level. With the help of regression analysis, an empirical validation is also performed, meant to assess the accuracy and effectiveness of the proposed model. Moreover, an automated estimation tool is designed and implemented at last.
