  • Abstract
The technical and vocational education and training (TVET) can play an essential role in promoting economic growth and socio-economic development. More developed countries are in the process of using distance learning as a primary strategy in TVET reform. For developing countries, the TVET can be a platform for social cohesion by poverty alleviation and can allow countries to jump on the bandwagon of development and globalization. In some countries of Sub-Sahara Africa, the TVET system is already operational but some constraints especially technological and infrastructural constitute the hindrance of the system process evolution. For facing to the TVET challenges in Sub-Sahara Africa, the infrastructure availability, the easy access on information and communication technology (ICT), the adequate medium selection and learning technology constitute the key strategies for promoting the TVET in Sub-Sahara Africa.
