Abstract :
A rotating arc sensor may be used to pick up the deviation and oblique angle information of the welding seam, the relationship between deviation, oblique angle, initial phase and tracing angle are studied, based on the first harmonic coefficients of the welding torch height model with deviation and oblique angle included. Through the use of filtering method based on two dimensions, the improvement of the characteristic harmonic method, and the complex wavelet method, the real part of characteristic harmonic method or the real part of complex wavelet corresponding to the weld deviation, the imaginary part of characteristic harmonic method or the imaginary part of complex wavelet corresponding to oblique angle, can the deviation and the oblique angle information be extracted when the tracing angle is zero or small. The experiment results show that the use of such a method is better than the characteristics harmonic method adopting amplitude and phase as deviation criteria when the tracing angle is small.
