Abstract :
In order to resolve the problem of ceramic honeycomb extrusion die in use process, especially the problem of different extrusion speed even curving due to the change of hole’s diameter, a new kind of method for generating NC drilling path has been proposed based on uniform distribution. In drilling hole process, the drilled holes keep to uniform distribution always in the whole area of holes. With the help of manufacturing system engineering, in the use point of view, the die extrusion’s problem caused by drill bit wearing in diameter’s direction has been compensated. The uniformity of the drilled holes as the method is tested with the χ2 test method. The test result indicates that the uniformity level is prominence. From the simulation result and actual usage, the problem of extrusion die caused by drill bit wearing can be resolved effectively. The method is an effective method for generating NC drilling path. The performance of ceramic honeycomb extrusion die can be improved.
