Abstract
Providing services for underwater oil & gas pipe is an important guarantee to exploit ocean resource. Cutting and beveling technique of installing and repairing of seabed oil & gas pipe are necessary. An experimental system of crawl-on-pipe beveling machine based on turn-milling theory is developed. Its mathematic model is established. The results of the experiments prove the validity of the theory about the beveling machine. The experiments also obtain the processing rule, algorithms and operational procedures of the beveling machine for offshore pipe repairing.
