Abstract
Serious distortion of the multilayer thin shell causes it hard to maintain a uniform coat between shells. In general, the assembly position and the thickness of coat are always determined by experience. Consequently, assembly stress will be created and the uniformity of coat can not be ensured. Research on adaptation between shells transfer the orientation of the uniform coat into study on the disturbing tetrahedron area. Algorithms for the disturbance band of thin shell assembly position are proposed to determine the assembly position of the inner shell and the outer shell. Based on the above assembly position study, utilize the visualization technology to obtain a better assembly position and an optimized uniform coat. and then use program to realize the algorithm. Then the multilayer shell can be coated automatically making use of the virtual assembly optimization scheme.
