Design for Workflow technology oriented knowledge management system

On the basis of analyzing the essential characters of KM, a new idea about integrating knowledge management (KM) with Workflow management system (WfMS) is proposed, the solution to set up knowledge management system (KMS) based on workflow technology is presented, and the design for system is given in detail. According to the requirements of KMS, the security access control policy is also discussed. After introducing the demand of flexible workflow management, the method to build up the workflow exception repository is put forward. Finally, a way to construct the workflow-oriented knowledge base is provided.
