  • Abstract
    The control system of a magnetic dynamic absorber has been designed using the theory of output regulator. The main aim of the control system to reduce the unbalance response of the rotor equipped with the absorber to zero at several specified frequencies and to a non-resonant level at other frequencies has be achieved. Therefore, the on-line control of rotor vibration can be realised by using magnetic dynamic absorber. Moreover, even the state observer can be utilised to obtain the rotor unbalance information and to realise the identification of unbalance vector because the state vector representing the centrifugal force and corresponding observer are constructed in designing the control system of magnetic dynamic absorber. Thus a method to identify rotor unbalance by magnetic dynamic absorber is presented. The method presented is of value to the on-line rotor unbalance condition monitoring, and to the timely fault diagnosis as well as the rotor balancing without test runs.
