Web-based support for rational use of energy awareness

Energy efficiency offers a powerful and cost-effective tool for the achievement of a sustainable energy future. It is therefore never too early to start teaching children about the importance of saving energy. So, in this paper it will be presented a web-based support for Rational Use of Electric Energy Awareness. This tool was specially developed for teaching middle school students. Several resources such as lessons, experiences and games are available. The system is composed of a web tool module that is available through a web server, but also by an off-line module that works as an e-book being easily carried by students.
